Synopsis: At first glance, Network Rail doesn’t seem to have a particularly dramatic supply chain compared to say a large retailer. However when you look closer there is a huge National 365 24/7 supply chain which is formed of over 20 individual operations. All these have to combine seamlessly all day, every day, making this arguably the most complicated supply chain in the UK.
