Title: Anaerobic digestion: Recycling organic wastes into green gas and biofertiliser

Synopsis: Anaerobic digestion (AD) converts organic wastes such as food waste, sewage, and agricultural wastes and sustainably grown energy crops into renewable heat and power, clean transport fuel, and nutrient-rich biofertiliser. The UK AD industry is already powering over a million homes whilst increasing food and energy security, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and supporting rural economies and productivity across the UK. Charlotte will set out the many environmental and economic benefits of AD for businesses, farmers, and policymakers.
