    Dr Rebecca Vipond MAUA joined the Institute of Advanced Study at the University of Warwick as Research Officer in September 2015, before being promoted to Programme Manager in April 2018. Her expertise lies in research management, interdisciplinarity and mentoring early career researchers. Her current role includes managing a cohort of 35 Early Career Researchers from across the full spectrum of academic disciplines, administering a large international Postdoctoral Fellowship programme, sponsored by the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions COFUND scheme, and leading a bespoke series of professional training workshops for young academics. Dr Vipond holds a PhD in Medicinal and Synthetic Chemistry from the University of Warwick and worked previously as a postdoctoral research fellow and teaching fellow before joining moving into research management.
