Farshad is a Research Associate at the Robotics for Extreme Environment Laboratory (REEL) in the University of Manchester, UK. He received his BSc degree in Computer Engineering in 2004, MSc degree in Computer Systems Engineering in 2010, and PhD in Computer Science in 2015. He was awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship to be involved in EU FP7 projects during his PhD study in University of Lincoln, UK. His research interests include swarm robotics, autonomous systems, and collective robotics.
