Laura Menke – PhD candidate, Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University London

    I am a PhD student focusing on cardiovascular pharmacology at the Blizard Institute in London. I have been awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions research fellowship and am part of EVOluTION, a pioneering network within the EU that delivers innovative training on preclinical and clinical science, commercial and business aspects, intellectual property and more. As part of my research, I am interested in boosting the endogenous protective mechanism in the body via dietary approaches, especially in the setting of thrombosis.
